भारत सरकार द्वारा मनरेगा (MNREGA) को समाप्त कर नई योजना VB-G RAM G (Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin) लागू करने का प्रस्ताव मजदूरों और राज्यों दोनों के लिए नुकसानदेह साबित हो रहा है। मनरेगा केवल एक योजना नहीं थी, बल्कि ग्रामीण परिवारों के लिए कानूनी अधिकार था, जो उन्हें 100 दिन काम की गारंटी देता था और काम न मिलने पर मुआवज़ा माँगने का अधिकार भी प्रदान करता था। नई योजना में 125 दिन काम का वादा तो किया गया है, लेकिन यह केवल एक वादा है, कानूनी गारंटी नहीं । इससे मजदूरों का सबसे बड़ा सहारा छिन गया है।   राज्यों पर भी इसका सीधा असर पड़ेगा क्योंकि मनरेगा में केंद्र सरकार मजदूरी का अधिकांश खर्च उठाती थी, जबकि VB-G RAM G में केंद्र का हिस्सा घटा दिया गया है और राज्यों पर अधिक वित्तीय बोझ डाल दिया गया है। पहले से ही आर्थिक दबाव झेल रहे राज्यों के लिए यह अतिरिक्त जिम्मेदारी मजदूरों को समय पर काम और भुगतान दिलाने में और मुश्किलें पैदा करेगी।   यह बदलाव केवल नाम बदलने तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि मनरेगा को नए नाम और नए तरीके से कमजोर किया गया है । ग्र...
